Perhaps the most famous of Elliott's self portraits. Elliott comments "My Darkstudio was a radical departure from all existing studios and darkrooms. Most darkrooms are pokey holes under the stairs and studios invariably look like long forsaken garages. I decided to take a new approach." This is the view from which the Darkstudio is best known. Note complete absence of any cove or seamless background paper which Elliott detests. This picture has appeared all over the world. |
