THE PINK CADILLAC AND RED BALLOONS Elliott arrived at his 'Light Years' exhibition in a fabulous 1959 pink, convertible Cadillac, stuffed to over-flowing with 150 red balloons. Beautiful use of colour. He was accompanied by his glamour queen muse, Elizabeth Caron. To quote from La Dolce Vita, the car was more like an apartment than a car, at 20ft long. The actual arrival in motion, is on the 'Voice Of A New Generation' video. The show was in the West End of London. Elliott never exhibits outside W1. Apart from New York and Paris, of course.
